“Birth is not only about making babies. Birth is about making mothers ~ strong, competent, capable mothers who trust themselves and know their inner strength.”

Caleah with OakAro 30 weeks
As a doula, I want to encourage you, support you and inspire you to find your inner strength. Birth is an empowering experience when all force of life comes rushing into a moment. It’s intense and glorious. The experience will change you and live with you for the rest of your life.
I want to make sure that you remember that experience full of light and strength. I believe you can have the birth you want. I believe in you.
I'm Caleah! Since 2013, I have been a DONA trained Doula and have attended over 85 births (both at the hospitals and home). I believe childbirth to be an intensely beautiful, transformative and powerful experience and I consider it an honor to be asked to attend your birth. I have the upmost respect for you on your journey to creating this new being. I support all families however they may be and however the journey looked to creating this new life. I support all ways of birth and however you chose to guide yourself and your baby's during the process. I have attended a 12 day Vipassanna Meditation sit and completed a 200hour Yoga Teacher training. I bring mindfulness and breath work into the practice of labor and birthing. My formal education was in Environmental Science, Geography and French. On my free time I enjoy running, doing yoga, biking, hiking, swimming, netflix lounging and spending time with my kiddos (5 and 7 years old!!!).
